The Team Behind KenZobe
We're a small, focused team of developers, designers, and engineers based in Nairobi. We pick our projects carefully so we can do them well.
Why a Small Team?
We're intentionally small. Most agencies in Nairobi are sales machines that hand projects to junior developers once contracts are signed. Our approach is the opposite — the people who pitch you are the people who build for you. No bait-and-switch, no offshoring to lower-cost developers, no project-management theater.
Smaller team means we're selective about which projects we take on. We pick clients we can serve well — usually 6–8 active builds at a time. The trade-off: sometimes we can't start your project for 2–4 weeks. The benefit: when we do, you get our full attention.

Leads strategy, technical architecture, and client relationships at KenZobe Technologies. 10+ years building web platforms across e-commerce, fintech, and SaaS in East Africa. Specializes in M-Pesa integrations and high-performance Next.js applications.
Senior Frontend Engineer
Lead Designer & Frontend Engineer
Heads design and frontend engineering. Figma-driven design process, accessibility advocate, mobile-first specialist. Background in UX research and brand design for Kenyan SMEs.
Backend Engineer
Backend & Integrations
Owns backend architecture, database design, and third-party integrations. Specializes in M-Pesa Daraja API, payment gateways (PesaPal, Flutterwave), and ERP integrations (Odoo, QuickBooks).
Project Manager
Client Success & Project Management
Coordinates client communication, project timelines, and quality assurance. Single point of contact for clients during builds. Background in business operations and software delivery.
